Section 92 of the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992

Pursuant to section 92 of the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment & Treatment) Act 1992, I, James Christopher Lovelace, Director-General of Health, hereby give notice as follows:

Notice

The notice referred to in the Schedule is hereby amended by replacing the words “Catherine Mary MacKirdy, medical practitioner of Invercargill” with the words “Beverley Margaret O’Cain, manager of Invercargill” in the right hand column of the Schedule to the notice specified in the Schedule to this notice.

Acting District Court Judge Appointed

Pursuant to section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947, Her Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Ronald James Gilbert, retired District Court Judge

to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction and to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Courts under Part IIA of the District Courts Act 1947, at such place or places and for such period or periods only as the Chief District Court Judge may fix, pursuant to the said section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947, for a term of 12 months on and from the date hereof.
