No. 48

Declaring Railway Land Set Apart for Road in the Central Otago District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager (Lands and Property), Department of Survey and Land Information, Dunedin, declares, pursuant to section 52 (1), the railway land described in the Schedule hereto, to be set apart for road and shall, pursuant to section 60(2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, form part of State Highway No. 85.

1776 square metres, being part railway land, Block IV, Lauder Survey District; shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 23996, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Dunedin. Part Proclamation 1859.

Dated at Dunedin this 10th day of May 1994.

Declaring Land Acquired for Hydro Electric Power Generation in the City of Dunedin

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Dunedin, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for the purposes of hydro electric power generation and shall vest in Waipori Power Generation Limited on the 19th day of May 1994.
