Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together With a Declaration That the Area Become a Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Act, the Minister of Conservation further declares that the conservation area shall hereafter be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and classified as a scenic reserve subject to the provisions of section 19 (1A) of the latter Act.

Wellington Land District—Taupo District

27.8272 hectares, more or less, being Hautu 3F3B2, situated in Blocks VII and XI, Pukeiti Survey District. Part Document B. 255659.1. ML Plan 5279. Subject to a right of way easement, 20.12 metres wide along the margin of Lake Taupo, pursuant to section 14 of the Maori Land Adjustment and Maori Claims Adjustment Act 1926.

26.1048 hectares, more or less, being Hautu 3F4B2B, situated in Blocks VII and XI, Pukeiti Survey District. Part Document B. 255659.1. ML Plan 5279. Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Act, the Minister of Conservation further declares that the conservation area shall hereafter be set apart as a reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a recreation reserve subject to the provisions of the latter Act.

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Forestry, being the Minister deemed responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereafter be so held.

966 square metres, being part Rural Section 31220. Conservation purposes, section 62 of the Conservation Act 1987. S.O. 9757.
