Approval of Traffic Improvement Schools

Pursuant to section 39A of the Transport Act 1962 and section 48(2)(a) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986 and under powers delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety in an instrument of delegation, dated the 11th day of April 1994, I, Warren Richard Gillespie Simeon, Manager, Road User Standards, hereby approve the following organisation for the purposes of section 68 of Transport Act 1962:

Drive Plan Programme—Hei Oranga Pai Traffic Improvement Course under the direction of Colin Harrison Read, Auckland.

This course is gazetted for 24 months only.

“NEW ZEALAND DAIRY BOARD

At its meeting on 31st March 1994, the Dairy Board resolved to approve the Terms and Conditions of Herd Testing Licences issued by the New Zealand Dairy Board pursuant to the Herd Testing Regulations 1958 as set out below, to take effect on the issue of any new licences.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HERD TESTING LICENCES ISSUED BY NEW ZEALAND DAIRY BOARD

Pursuant to its powers under the Dairy Board Act 1961 and the Herd Testing Regulations 1957, the New Zealand Dairy Board (“NZDB”) sets the following terms and conditions (“Conditions”) to apply to all herd testing licences issued by the NZDB. The purpose of these Conditions is to ensure the integrity of data supplied to or held in the National Dairy Herd Improvement Database (“Database”) by:

(a) setting and maintaining uniform standards for the accurate collection and processing of all herd testing data; and

(b) ensuring that all herd testing in New Zealand is conducted in a consistent and uniform manner nationwide. The integrity of herd testing data is essential in order to optimise the rate of genetic gain in the national dairy herd to the benefit of the New Zealand dairy industry.

Licence Holder to Supply All Herd Testing Data

1.1 The Licence Holder shall faithfully and accurately collect and supply to the Database Manager all herd testing data relating to its herd testing activities and such other data as may be required from time to time by the Database Manager. All data shall be provided strictly in accordance with any time limits prescribed by these Conditions or by the Database Manager, or where no time is specified, forthwith as soon as reasonably possible. In default of the Licence Holder supplying such data, the Database Manager may obtain these.

1.2 The Licence Holder shall supply to the Database Manager, within 30 days of the data coming under its control, a copy of the RDIPM for every animal for which information is received or recorded by the Licence Holder.

1.3 The Licence Holder shall supply to the Database Manager before 31 July in each year such data as will enable the Database Manager to provide NZDB with a summary of its herd testing operations showing all herds, cows and samples tested and averaged test results for the
