Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Notice is hereby given that by virtue of section 338 of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, and pursuant to a recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a family recreation site for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Paaire and Tuihana Pirihi.

The reservation is to be known as the Tuihana Karangaroa Pirihi Reserve.

Schedule

North Auckland Land District

All that piece of land situated in Block II, Ruakaka Survey District and described as follows:

Area
5370 square metres

Being Part Takahiwai 5G2, and being part of the land contained in the partition order of the Maori Land Court, dated 24 June 1918.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Notice is hereby given that by virtue of section 338 of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, and pursuant to a recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a wahi tapu and a papa kainga for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Tangaroa Timoti Rikihana.

The reservation is to be known as the Tangaroa Rikihana Reserve.

All that piece of land situated in Block XIII, Tutamoe Survey District and described as follows:

2630 square metres

Being Opanake 2K2C1, being all the land contained in the partition order of the Maori Land Court, dated 15 October 1910.

Survey and Land Information

Public Works Act 1981

Land in Franklin District Acquired for Road, Limited Access Road (State Highway No. 1) and for Granting as Compensation

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Auckland, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in:

(a) The First Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) The Second Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for limited access road which, pursuant to sections 60 (2) and 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 1 and becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

(c) The Third Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for granting as compensation and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired in connection with soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in The Waikato Regional Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
