Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120 (3) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager (Lands and Property), Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto, to be stopped and shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, Volume 377, folio 118.

Amending a Declaration Acquiring Interests in Land in Waikato District for Coal Mining Operations Under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, here amends the declaration dated the 10th day of June 1991 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 13 June 1991, No. 87, page 1907, acquiring interests in land in Waikato District for coal mining operations under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979 by inserting “, the undivided one-twentyfifth share held by Maranga Paki, the undivided one-twentyfifth share held by Rangianehu Hunia, the undivided one-twentyfifth share held by Te Okewhare Muru, the undivided one-twentyfifth share held by Cissie Karena, the undivided one-fifteenth share held by Mary Rose Karena,” between the words “Paki” and “and”.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road, which pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of the State Highway No. 75 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.

Declaring Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes and Easements Granted in the City of Dunedin

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Dunedin, declares:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), agreements to that effect having been entered into the land described in the First Schedule hereto, to be acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and vested in The Otago Regional Council on the 24th day of March 1994.

(b) Pursuant to section 48, right of way easements over the land in the Second Schedule containing the rights and powers implied in and attaching to right of ways as set out in the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act 1952.

(i) The easement over the land, firstly and secondly described to be held appurtenant to the land firstly described in the Third Schedule hereto.

(ii) The easement over the land thirdly and fourthly described to be held appurtenant to the land secondly described in the Third Schedule hereto.

(iii) The easement over the land fifthly described to be held appurtenant to the land thirdly described in the Third Schedule hereto.

(iv) The easement over the land sixthly and seventhly described to be held appurtenant to the land fourthly described in the Third Schedule hereto.
