Land Declared to be Motorway in the District of Franklin

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At Wellington this 7th day of March 1994

Present:
Her Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 71 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, and at the request of Transit New Zealand, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a motorway.

North Auckland Land District

All that portion of State Highway 1 in the District of Franklin from a point approximately 400 metres north of the Great South Road Overbridge at Saint Stephens at Route Position 369/8.27 in a generally southerly direction for a distance of approximately 2.3 kilometres, to new Route Position 369/10.58 approximately 150 metres south of the Mill Road underpass to include connections to and from Mill Road.

As shown on plan 1/30/46/3994, held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Auckland.

Change of the Name of the Ataturk Memorial Historic Reserve

That pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, The Wellington City Council hereby declares that part of the historic reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, and known as Ataturk Memorial Historical Reserve shall hereafter be known as the Rangitatau Historic Reserve.

6.4350 hectares, more or less, being part Section 3, S.O. 35920, situated in Block XI, Port Nicholson Survey District; marked “A” on S.O. 36785. Part document B. 164466.1.

18.5493 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. 35920, situated in Block XI, Port Nicholson Survey District. All New Zealand Gazette notice B. 027112.1.
