District Courts Act 1947

District Court Judge Appointed

Pursuant to section 5 of the District Courts Act 1947, Her Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Jeremy Philip Gittos, barrister and solicitor of Tauranga

to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand and to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Courts under Part 11A of the District Courts Act 1947.

Eden Park Trust Act 1955

At Wellington this 22nd day of February 1994

Pursuant to section 17(1) of the Eden Park Trust Act 1955, and with the agreement of the Eden Park Trust Board, Auckland Cricket Association and Auckland Rugby Football Union, Her Excellency the Governor-General hereby approves the following amendment to the Act:

In the Second Schedule to the Act, clause 25 is amended by omitting references to the 15th day of April and the 14th day of April and substituting references to the 1st day of April and the 31st day of March respectively.
