Land at 100 and 100A Fendalton Road Acquired for and Set Apart for Road

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares that:

(i) Pursuant to section 20(1), an agreement to that effect having been entered into, an undivided one-half share of the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in The Christchurch City Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette and

(ii) Pursuant to section 52(4), at the request of The Christchurch City Council, an undivided one-half share of the land described in the Schedule hereto, held by that council for road diversion, be set apart for road.

Canterbury Land District—Christchurch City

189 square metres, being part Lot 1, on Deposited Plan 50689; as shown marked ‘A’ on S.O. Plan 19115, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch.

I, Maurice Donald Williamson, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 143A(3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve, pursuant to section 143A(1)(a) and section 143C(1)(b)(i) of the Act, the sale of land referred to in the Schedule below by The Wanganui District Council, and I specify that my approval is effective from the date of this notice.

Schedule

All that parcel of land containing 1012 square metres, more or less, situate in the City of Wanganui, being Lot 14 on Deposited Plan 18365 and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 683, folio 76 (Wellington Registry).
