Declaration of the Assistant Registrar Revoking Dissolution of Society
I, Donna-Maree Cherrington, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that it has been made to appear to me that the declaration dissolving the under-mentioned society ought to be revoked. The said declaration is hereby revoked accordingly, pursuant to section 28 (3) of the Incorporated Societies Act 1908:

Citizens Initiated Referenda Act 1993
Notice of Proposal to Promote an Indicative Referendum Petition
Pursuant to section 7 of the Citizens Initiated Referenda Act 1993, I give notice that I have received from the Next Step Democracy Movement proposals to promote indicative referendum petitions.
The wording of the questions proposed to be put to voters in indicative referendums is—
“Should all New Zealanders have access to public health services which are fully government funded and without user charges?”
“Should all New Zealanders have access to public education services, from early childhood to tertiary level, which are fully government funded and without user charges?”
“Should full employment with wages and conditions that are fair and equitable be the central goal of government economic policy?”
“Should all New Zealanders on income support and benefits get an income based on what it actually costs to live?”
“Should increases in New Zealand’s electricity demand be met from energy conservation and from the use of sources that are environmentally sustainable?”
“Should New Zealand’s military budget be reduced to half its 1994/95 level by the year 2000 with the savings spent on health, education, conservation and the promotion of full employment?”
Comment is invited on this wording. Anyone wishing to comment must send three (3) written copies to:
