Objection 807 South Taranaki District Council, Hawera and Patea Community Boards

Objects to the proposed boundaries of King Country, Waitotara and New Plymouth electorates.

Objection 06 W G Tolhurst

Objects to the proposed name of Waitotara as Wanganui is the major city with 80% of the population of the new electorate. The Wanganui River and the whole of the Wanganui District Council are within the electorate. There has always been a Wanganui electorate. Waitotara is the geographical centre although it is insignificant in population.
