Objects to the proposed King Country/Waitotara electorate which will divide communities, in particular Hawera and its satellite towns of Normanby and Ohawe.

Suggested solution The establishment of two Taranaki electorates based upon the Regional Council boundaries would create compact electorates, centred upon a very strong community of interest, facilities and topographical features.
