Notice of Suspension of Business

Notice is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies and Credit Unions has, pursuant to section 139 of the Friendly Societies and Credit Unions Act 1982, on 4 November 1994, prohibited Te Teko District Family Credit Union from:

borrowing money;

accepting subscriptions for shares;

lending money;

repaying share capital;

accepting new members.

The purpose of this suspension of business is to formally secure the assets of the credit union, until its financial position is determined, and until it is in a position to re-open. The suspension will be removed as soon as directors of the credit union have met specified conditions.
