Public Works Act 1981

Land and Easement Acquired for Water Treatment Plant in Waipa District

Pursuant to sections 20 and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for a water treatment plant, and the right to convey water easement in perpetuity described in the Second Schedule hereto (being appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto), is hereby acquired for water treatment plant purposes over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land and easement shall vest in The Waipa District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Acquired

3736 square metres, situated in Block XIV, Cambridge Survey District, being part Pukekura No. 1 Block; as shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 59943, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Second Schedule

Description of Right to Convey Water Easement

The rights and powers implied in and attaching to a right to convey water easement as set out in the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, under the heading “Right to Convey Water” as if the same were fully set out herein.

Third Schedule

South Auckland Land District

Land over which Right to Convey Water Easement is Acquired

All that piece of land, situated in Block XIV, Cambridge Survey District, being part Pukekura No. 1 Block; as shown marked “D” on S.O. Plan 59943, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for service lane and shall vest in The Waitomo District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Amending a Notice Acquiring Land for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Thames-Coromandel District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, hereby amends the declaration dated 12 October 1994, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 20 October 1994, No. 108 at page 3155, acquiring land for soil conservation and river control purposes by omitting from the Schedule thereto, the area secondly described.

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for the purposes of a road and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
