Notice of Appointment of Receiver

Pursuant to Section 8(1)(b) of the Companies Act 1955

I, Murray George Allott, chartered accountant of 13 Woodford Terrace, Christchurch, hereby give notice that on the 31st day of October 1994, I was appointed receiver of all the undertaking, goodwill and assets of Kearns Corporation Limited (in receivership) under the powers contained in a debenture dated the 1st day of December 1988, given to Joynt Andrews Securities Limited as trustee on behalf of Melrose Resources Limited.

This appointment is in place of that of James Bruce Alfred McAlister, chartered accountant of Christchurch, care of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Deloitte House, 32 Oxford Terrace (P.O. Box 248), Christchurch. Telephone: (03) 379 7010. Facsimile: (03) 366 6539.

In the matter of section 8 of the Receiverships 1993, and in the matter of Nilpat Holdings Limited:

Notice is hereby given that on the 31st day of October 1994, at the request of the directors, Westpac Banking Corporation appointed Messrs Russell Stuart Hay and Rodney Gane Pardington, both chartered accountants of Auckland, as receivers and managers of the property of Nilpat Holdings Limited under the powers contained in a mortgage debenture dated the 27th day of February 1992, given by that company.

The offices of the receivers and managers are at the offices of Messrs Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Chartered Accountants, Tower Two, The Shortland Centre, Shortland Street, Auckland.
