Board of Trustees Election

Pursuant to section 101 of the Education Act 1989, notice is given that the first election was held on the 29th day of April 1994, for the board of trustees of the following school:

Hutt International Boys’ School, Silverstream.

The proprietors of the said school have entered into an integration agreement with the Minister of Education, pursuant to the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975. The first meeting of the board of trustees was held on the 11th day of October 1994.

Dissolution of Board of Trustees and Appointment of a Commissioner

Pursuant to section 106 (1) (a) of the Education Act 1989, for the reason that so many casual vacancies have arisen that there is no longer any member of the board who is eligible to preside at meetings of the board, I hereby dissolve the Southern Cross School Board of Trustees and appoint

Mr Grahame Smith

as Commissioner to act in its place.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 (1) (c) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under the authority delegated by the Secretary of Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated the 4th day of July 1991, which was granted under those regulations to Tony Hoerara, in respect of Waitaki Te Kohanga Reo, 33 Exe Street, Oamaru.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under the authority delegated by the Secretary of Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated the 1st day of March 1993, which was granted under those regulations to John Kirkpatrick in respect of Royal Oak Pre-School No. 2, 1 Erson Avenue, Royal Oak, Auckland.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

St Patrick’s School, Kaiapoi.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 10th day of October 1994. A copy of the supplementary agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 123 Victoria Street, Christchurch.
