Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment, hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Southpower Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1993.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Interpretation—In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires, “line function services” has the same meaning as in section 2(1) of the Electricity Act 1992.

3. Approval as requiring authority—Southpower Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority for its network operation of the supply of line function services.

Forest Disease Control Regulations 1967

Declaration of Infected Area

Pursuant to regulation 4(1) of the Forest Disease Control Regulations 1967 and to an approval from the Minister of Forestry, I, Ross Morgan, an authorised Forestry Officer, hereby declare the area described in the Schedule hereto, to be an infected area in respect of the disease Ophiostroma ulmi (commonly known as Dutch Elm Disease) which attacks the Ulmus and Zelkova species (Elm family).

Note: The effect of this declaration is that no person may, without written consent of an authorised Forestry Officer, and subject to such conditions as he thinks fit, remove, or cause to be removed, any forest produce of the Ulmus and Zelkova species (Elm family) (except seedlings) from the area described in the Schedule, or likewise move that forest produce from one place to another within that area. Any forest produce of the above species treated in accordance with written specifications of an authorised Forestry Officer is not affected by the above declaration. This declaration comes into effect on its first publication in a newspaper circulating in the area. Any person wishing to make an inquiry about moving material from an Elm tree into, out of, or within the greater Napier area, should contact the Ministry of Forestry, Napier, telephone: 0-6-834 4513.

Change of Name of Specified Clinic Where Controlled Drugs May Be Prescribed, Administered or Supplied for the Purpose of Treating Persons Dependent on Controlled Drugs

Pursuant to section 24(5) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, I, Janice Marjorie Wilson, acting under delegated authority of the Minister of Health, specify the place named in the Schedule, as a place at which controlled drugs may be prescribed, administered or supplied for the purposes of section 24 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975.

And the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette of 22 July 1993 at page 2087 and relating to the Auckland Drug Dependency Clinic at 88 Grafton Road, Auckland, is hereby revoked.
