Advertising Rates
The following rates for the insertion of material in the Principal Edition of the New Zealand Gazette apply as from 1 July 1991:
Category 1
Single column notices, e.g.: Notices under the Transport Act, Public Works Act — 55c per word.
Category 2
Notices in table form or taking up two columns across the page, e.g.: Regulation Summaries, notices under the Medicines Act — 60c per word.
The appropriate rate to be applied to an advertisement will be determined at the time of setting up the notice for publication. Customers will be invoiced in accordance with standard commercial practices. Advertising rates are not negotiable.
All rates shown are inclusive of G.S.T.

Summary of Bills Introduced
Reduction of Violence on Television
Promotes and enforces programme standards in broadcasting that aim to reduce the showing of violence on television. Thereby aims to contribute to reducing the prevalence of violence in society and its impact on the community.
Environmental Risk Management Authority Commencement
Amends the Resource Management Act 1991, by renaming the Hazards Control Commission under Part XIII of that Act as the Environmental Risk Management Authority, to take effect from 1 July 1993.
