Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Amendment to a Notice Revoking the Reservation Over Reserves Specifying Their Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Southland, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, hereby amends an error in the notice revoking the reservation as recreation reserves in the Town of Riverton dated the 5th day of December 1990 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 13 December 1990, No. 217, page 4666, by omitting from the said notice the words “Southland City Council” and inserting the wording “Southland District Council” in their place.

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Northland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby, notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Whangarei District Council on the 10th day of March 1993:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Whangarei District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”
