Declaring Land to be Road and Road Stopped in Westland District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hokitika, hereby—

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road, which pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 6, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and amalgamated with the land contained in certificate of title No. 1B/928.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wanganui, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for sewerage and effluent disposal works and shall vest in The Wanganui District Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.
