Land Acquired for Granting as Compensation in Western Bay of Plenty District

Pursuant to sections 20 and 21 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for granting as compensation and shall vest in The Bay of Plenty Regional Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 422 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Dame Catherine Anne Tizard, G.C.M.G., D.B.E., the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be road.
