Notice of Resolutions for Voluntary Winding Up and Notice to Creditors to Prove Debts or Claims

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of Firth Certified Concrete Limited and Firth Stresscrete Limited:

Notice is hereby given that as a consequence of an administrative restructuring and having filed a declaration of solvency in compliance with section 274 of the Companies Act 1955, the above-named companies resolved, on the 31st day of March 1993, by a special resolution by means of an entry in the minute book of the company, pursuant to the provisions of section 362 of the Companies Act 1955:

1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.

2. That Leonard Smith, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the company and distributing the assets.

This will not affect the day to day operational activities of the above-named companies as the parent company, Firth Industries Limited, will take over the running of the businesses.

Notice is further given that the undersigned, the liquidator of the above-named companies, which are being wound up voluntarily, does hereby fix the 31st day of May 1993, as the day on or before which the creditors of the companies are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Companies Act 1955, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are proved, or as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.
