Pursuant to section 9 (2) of the Irrigation Schemes Act 1990, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
Order
-
Title—This order may be cited as the Irrigation Schemes (Ida Valley Irrigation Company Limited Vesting Order No. 1) Order 1993.

Application—(1) This order applies to all the land described in the Schedule to this order, saving and excepting—
(a) The bed of any lake whose bed has an area of 5 hectares or more:
(b) The bed of any river whose bed has an average width of 3 metres or more:
(c) Any land covered and uncovered by the flow and ebb of the tide at mean spring tides.
(2) In subclause (1) of this clause, the terms “bed”, “lake”, and “river” have the meanings assigned to them by section 2 (1) of the Resource Management Act 1991.
- Approval and vesting—Subject to section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987, the land to which this order applies—
(a) Is hereby approved for the purposes of section 9 (2) (b) of the Irrigation Schemes Act 1990:
(b) On the 2nd day of April 1993, shall vest for an estate in fee simple in Ida Valley Irrigation Company Limited (a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act 1955, having its registered office at Alexandra).

Pursuant to section 14 of the State Sector Act 1988 (as substituted by section 3 of the State Sector Amendment Act (No. 2) 1989), Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Prime Minister has been pleased to appoint
John Joseph McGrath, Q.C. of Wellington
to be the Acting Deputy State Services Commissioner on 2 March 1993, and thereafter for the completion of any activity undertaken by him on that day.

Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, the State Sector Act 1988, a delegation from the Minister for Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary of Transport, I, John Gibson Bradbury, Manager Air Services, give the following notice:
Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, to amend the terms of the International Air Service Licence issued to Aerolineas Argentinas so as to allow the airline to utilise B767 aircraft on its service to New Zealand with effect from 26 March 1993.
