Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes (Stewardship Area)

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Forestry, being the Minister deemed responsible for the department that has control of the land, jointly declare that the land in the Schedule hereto, is held for conservation purposes (stewardship area) and that it shall hereafter be so held.

Land Act 1948

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Makarau Hall Society

Pursuant to section 167 of the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for local purpose (community buildings), and further, pursuant to section 26 of the Reserves Act 1977, vests the said reserve in the Makarau Hall Society in trust for that purpose.

Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Hawke’s Bay Conservancy, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Tararua District Council on the 10th day of November 1993:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Tararua District Council resolved that the piece of land held by the council in fee simple and described in the Schedule, is declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the Act and to form part of the Ormondville Recreation Reserve.”

Declaration that Private Land Shall be Protected Private Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wanganui Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby declares that, the land described in the Schedule hereto, shall be protected private land for nature and scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act.
