Application to the Indecent Publications Tribunal

I, Graeme William Ludlow, Comptroller of Customs, give notice that I have applied to the Indecent Publications Tribunal for a decision as to whether the books described below are indecent or not or for a decision as to their classification:

Education

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary of Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated the 27th day of July 1992, which was granted under those regulations to Hiro Hamilton in respect of Te Wairoa (Te Wahanga Tua Wha) Kohanga Reo, Pakowhai Marae, Frasertown. The Te Kohanga Reo has re-established as Te Wairoa (Tuaiwha) Kohanga Reo at 36 McLean Street, Wairoa.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

Marist Sisters School, Herne Bay.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 23rd day of November 1993. A copy of the supplementary agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 6–10 Nugent Street, Auckland.
