Order of the Council in Disciplinary Session
Order in Respect of Keith Gordon Hargreaves, Registered Psychopaedic Nurse

In exercise of its powers under section 42 (1) (b), 42 (2) (a), 42 (9), 42 (3) and 48A of the Nurses Act 1977, the Nursing Council of New Zealand on 21 September 1993, after due inquiry found Registered Psychopaedic Nurse Keith Gordon Hargreaves to have been guilty of professional misconduct and ordered that his name be removed from the Register of Psychopaedic Nurses. Council declined to fix a time after which he may apply to have his name restored to the Register. Council also ordered that he pay $8,000 or actual costs (whichever is the lesser), toward the cost and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the council and investigation made by the Preliminary Proceedings Committee; that a notice stating the effect of the order be published in the New Zealand Gazette, and the Nursing New Zealand.
