Public Works Act 1981

Road Realignment in the Central Otago District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Dunedin, declares that:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, to be road vested in The Central Otago District Council on the 25th day of November 1993.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be stopped and dealt with as a Crown land under the Land Act 1948.

First Schedule

Otago Land District—Central Otago District

All those pieces of land situated in the Town of Bendigo described as follows:

0.1846 ha Part Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, Block IX; shown marked “E” on S.O. Plan 23854.
0.7333 ha Crown land; shown marked “F” on S.O. Plan 23854.
0.0336 ha Crown land; shown marked “G” on S.O. Plan 23854.
0.0244 ha Part Sections 10 and 11, Block IX; shown marked “J” on S.O. Plan 23854.
1.0435 ha Crown land; shown marked “B” on S.O. Plan 23855.

As shown marked as above mentioned on the plans above mentioned, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Dunedin.

Declaring Land Acquired for Road, Road Stopped and Land Taken in the Clutha District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Dunedin, declares:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 8A and shall vest in the Crown on the 25th day of November 1993.

(b) Pursuant to section 52 (1), the Crown land described in the Second Schedule hereto is set apart for road which, pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 8A and shall vest in the Crown on the 25th day of November 1993.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, the road described in the Third Schedule hereto to be stopped and area “V” on S.O. 21851 to be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 13B/503 and area “N” on S.O. 21850, to be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 13B/502.
