Major General K. M. Gordon, C.B.E., Retired List, is appointed Colonel of the Regiment, RNZIR, for a period of four years with effect from 1 April 1993, vice Brigadier M. R. Kennedy, M.B.E., Retired List.

Colonel D. W. S. Moloney, O.B.E., Retired List, is appointed Honorary Colonel of 2/1 RNZIR, for a period of four years with effect from 1 April 1993, vice Major General K. M. Gordon, C.B.E.

Temporary Lieutenant Colonel G. T. Vercoe to be Lieutenant Colonel with seniority from 1 January 1993 and effect from 4 July 1993.
