International Air Services Licensing Act 1947
Notice of Application for an International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to section 7 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Ansett Air Freight, a division of Ansett Transport Industries (Operations) Pty Limited of Australia, has applied for an International Air Service Licence to permit the company to operate scheduled air services for the carriage of freight and mail between Australia and New Zealand. Further details of this application may be obtained from the Acting Secretary for Transport, Ministry of Transport, P.O. Box 3175, Wellington.
Any person or organisation wishing to make representations relating to this application must forward those representations in writing to reach me on or before the 25th day of November 1993.

International Air Services Licensing Act 1947 State Sector Act 1988
Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, the State Sector Act 1988, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a sub-delegation from the Acting Secretary for Transport, I, John Gibson Bradbury, Manager Air Services, give the following notice:
Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, to amend the terms of the International Air Service Licence issued to Polynesian Airlines (Holdings) Limited so as to allow the airline to operate such frequency of services between Apia and Auckland as have been filed with and acknowledged by the Secretary for Transport.
This amendment will take effect on the 26th day of November 1993.

Transport Act 1962
Exemption for Specified Vehicles from the Requirement to have a Certificate of Fitness
Pursuant to section 79, subsection 7 (f) of the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by an instrument of delegation dated the 20th day of August 1993, I, Richard Leslie Reynolds, Manager Vehicle Standards, hereby exempt from the requirements of section 79 of the said Act, those heavy vehicles specified in the Schedule hereunder.
Schedule

Motor vehicles listed in Part II of the First Schedule to the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, and colloquially known as EA, or Exempt Class A.

Motor vehicles listed in the First Schedule to the Motor Spirits Duty Refund Regulations 1978, and colloquially known as EB, or Exempt Class B.

Motor vehicles designed exclusively or principally as part of the armament of any of Her Majestyβs Forces.

Cable jinkers.

Front end loaders.
-
Log skidders.
-
Tractor cranes.
-
All terrain cranes.
-
Mobile crushing plantβtrailer mounted.

Motor graders.
-
Motor scrapers.
-
Trailer scrapers.
-
Plant for servicing oil filled cables.
-
Post debarkers.
-
Saw bench apparatus.
-
Forestry chippers.
-
Sawing or shearing apparatus for tree cutting.

Trench diggers and excavators.
-
Vehicles that are always used unloaded on the road and that are designed exclusively for carrying earth or other bulk materials.
Explanatory Note:
Not to form part of the New Zealand Gazette notice.
The vehicles specified in the above Schedule are exempt from the requirement to display a current certificate of fitness; they are, however, obliged to display a current Warrant of Fitness.
