Contraception, Sterilisation and Abortion Act 1977

Standard for the Manufacture and Sale of Condoms

Pursuant to section 6 (1) of the Contraception, Sterilisation and Abortion Act 1977, I, Maurice Williamson, hereby approve New Zealand Standard 7104:1993 for the purpose of manufacturing for sale or selling condoms.

This approval shall take effect on and after the 28th day of January 1994.

The standard for the manufacture and sale of condoms appearing in the New Zealand Gazette, 12 September 1985, No. 168, page 3940, is hereby revoked.

Prohibition on the Prescribing of Controlled Drugs

Pursuant to section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, I, Maurice Donald Williamson, Associate Minister of Health, on the recommendation of the Medical Council of New Zealand, hereby prohibit the prescribing of controlled drugs by John Alexander McQueen, medical practitioner, of Fairlie.

Notice is hereby given that sittings of the Maori Land Court and Maori Appellate Court will be held during the year 1 January 1994 to 31 December 1994 at the places and commencing on the dates referred to in the Schedule hereto.

The hour of commencement of each sitting (and the date and place thereof in the case of the Maori Appellate Court) will be notified in the relevant Panui. If any date referred to in the Schedule is varied, the varied date will be notified in the Panui.
