• That the prices, terms and conditions for access to the grid reflect costs and are transparent and do not involve economically inefficient discrimination between users.

Grid reliability

• That the target level of reliability reflects the value to electricity users of a reliable system, taking into account the costs involved.

Allocation of risk

• That the technical and commercial risks inherent in operating the transmission system are allocated where they are most efficiently and effectively managed.

The Government considers that these principles will promote efficient use of resources and contribute to efficient markets for the generation of electricity.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Miramar Christian School, Wellington (Attendance Dues) Notice 1993

Pursuant to section 36 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, the Minister of Education hereby gives notice approving the charging of attendance dues at Miramar Christian School.

Notice

1. This notice shall be cited as the Miramar Christian School, Wellington (Attendance Dues) Notice 1993.

2. The proprietor of the above-named school may enter into an agreement with the parents or other persons accepting responsibility for the education of a child at the above-named school requiring them to pay attendance dues.

3. The attendance dues payable in respect of any pupil shall be $590 per annum inclusive of G.S.T.

4. Attendance dues received by the proprietor shall be used for the purpose of paying for such improvements to, or for such capital works associated with, the buildings and associated facilities of the above-mentioned integrated schools as may be required or approved by the Minister of Education, pursuant to section 40 (2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, or for meeting debts, mortgages, liens, or other charges associated with any of the land and buildings that constitute the integrated schools.

The Resource Management (Approval of Taupo Orchid Society Incorporated as Heritage Protection Authority) Notice 1993

Pursuant to section 18B of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment, hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Taupo Orchid Society Incorporated as Heritage Protection Authority) Notice 1993.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Approval as heritage protection authority—Taupo Orchid Society Incorporated is hereby approved as a heritage protection authority for the purpose of protecting a 16 hectare (more or less) area of Pinus nigra forest comprising the south eastern corner of compartment 647 of the Kaingaroa State Forest.
