Land Declared to be Road and Road Declared to be Stopped—State Highway No. 35, Gudgeons Hill—Gisborne District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Gisborne:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule to be road and vested in the Crown, which pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1949, shall form part of State Highway 35.

(b) Pursuant to section 116 (1), declares the parts of the road described in the Second Schedule to be stopped.

First Schedule

Gisborne Land District

All in Block I, Waipau Survey District. S.O. Plans 8621 and 8622, and deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Gisborne.

Land Acquired for Road in the District of Marlborough

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager (Lands and Property), Department of Survey and Land Information, Nelson, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for limited access road, which has become road, limited access road and State highway, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
