Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together With a Declaration That the Area Become a Reserve

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land, described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Act, the Minister further declares that the conservation area shall hereafter be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the latter Act.
