USING THE GAZETTE
The New Zealand Gazette, the official newspaper of the Government of New Zealand, is published weekly on Thursday. Publishing time is 4 p.m.
Closing time for lodgement of notices under the Companies, Partnership, Insolvency and Land Transfer Acts is 12 noon on Monday (except where that day is a public holiday, in which case the deadline will be noon on the last working day of the preceding week). All other notices must be lodged at the Gazette Office by 12 noon, Tuesday in the week of publication.
Notices are accepted for publication in the next available issue, unless otherwise specified.
Notices being submitted for publication must be reproduced copies of the originals. Dates, proper names and signatures are to be shown clearly. A covering instruction setting out requirements must accompany all notices.
Copy will be returned unpublished if not submitted in accordance with these requirements.

Cancelled Notices
Notices cancelled after being accepted for publication will be subject to a charge of $5 to cover setting up and deleting costs. The deadline for cancelling notices is 3 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Advertising Rates
The following rates for the insertion of material in the New Zealand Gazette apply as from 1 July 1991:
Category 1
Single column notices, e.g.: Notices under the Companies Act, Insolvency Act, and Public Works Act — 55c per word.
Category 2
Notices in table form or taking up two columns across the page, e.g.: Change of Company Name notices, Regulation Summaries — 60c per word.
The appropriate rate to be applied to an advertisement will be determined at the time of setting up the notice for publication. Customers will be invoiced in accordance with standard commercial practices. Advertising rates are not negotiable.
All rates shown are inclusive of G.S.T.
