Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together with a Declaration That the Area Become a Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Forestry being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and pursuant to section 8 (1a) of the Act, the Minister of Conservation further declares that the conservation area shall hereafter be set apart as a reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a scenic reserve subject to the provisions of the latter Act.

North Auckland Land District—Whangarei District

325.2457 hectares, more or less, being Lot 2, D.P. 15950 and part Lot 1, D.P. 15951, Motatau Survey District, situated in Block XVI, Matatau Survey District.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Forestry being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land hereby jointly declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

1012 square metres, more or less, being Lot 16, Deposited Plan 2414, situated in Block VIII, Glenomaru Survey District. All document 392562.

1012 square metres, more or less, being Lot 17, Block III, Deeds Plan 241, situated in Block VIII, Glenomaru Survey District. All document 219073.

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby revokes the reservation as a road reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and declares the said land may be disposed of by The Christchurch City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserve account, such moneys to be used towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

460 square metres, being lot 16, D.P. 22148. All certificate of title 828/38.

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Reserve and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason of an error made in the notice hereafter described, the Regional Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, hereby revokes the notice declaring that private land shall be protected private land dated the 22nd day of February 1993 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 4 March 1993, No. 28, page 591 and hereby issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Declaration That Private Land Shall be Protected Private Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby declares that the private land described in the Schedule hereto shall be protected private land for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Marlborough Land District—Kaikoura District

1.8204 hectares, more or less, being part Sections 9 and 11, Mangamahau Maori Block 2A, more particularly shown marked “A” and “C” on L.T. 8776. Part certificates of title 1A/956 and 38/171.
