Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired, subject to a drainage casement granted by transfer 586971 and together with a right to drain water created by transfer 590205, for road diversion and shall vest in The Christchurch City Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.

612 square metres, being Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 22248, all certificate of title 1D/1389.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is hereby acquired, the first described estates being subject to memoranda of lease No. A. 13609/1 and A. 13609/3, for road diversion and shall vest in The Christchurch City Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.

Firstly, an estate of fee simple as to an undivided one half share of 985 square metres, being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 60461, and secondly, an estate of leasehold created by lease No. A. 13609/1 in Flat 1 and Garage 1 on Deposited Plan 61083—both the above described estates being comprised and described in certificate of title 36B/815.

Land Declared Road and Land Set Apart for the Functioning Indirectly of a Road in the District of Kaikoura

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Nelson:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 1 and shall remain vested in the Crown.

(b) Pursuant to section 52, declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be set apart for the functioning indirectly of a road.

Marlborough Land District—Kaikoura District

2570 square metres, situated in Block II, Mount Fyffe Survey District, being part Hapuku Riverbed; as shown marked “D” on S.O. Plan 6497, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Blenheim.
