Road Deviation at Waikari Valley Road

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager (Lands and Property), Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby:

(a) Pursuant to sections 20 and 114 (1), declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of the State Highway No. 7 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this declaration in the Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120 (3), declares the road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and vested in Graeme David Earl, carpenter of Waikari, and shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 5A/639, Canterbury Land Registry, subject to mortgage 672600/6.
