Order of the Council in Disciplinary Session in Respect of Kingsley Kin-Lit Kung, Registered Psychiatric Nurse

In exercise of its powers under sections 42 (1) (b), 42 (2) (a), 42 (9), 42 (3), 23 (2) and 48A of the Nurses Act 1977, the Nursing Council of New Zealand after due inquiry on 29 October 1992, found Kingsley Kin-Lit Kung to have been guilty of professional misconduct and ordered that his name be removed from the Register of Psychiatric Nurses and that 2 years be the time after which he may apply to have his name restored to the Register. Council also ordered that he return all certificates and badges issued to him by the Nursing Council, that he pay $3,900.00 for actual costs incurred (whichever is the lesser) toward the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the council, that a notice stating the effect of these orders be published in the Gazette, and the New Zealand Nursing Journal.
