Medicines Act 1981

The Medicines (Approved Laboratories and Designated Analysts in Charge) Notice 1992

Pursuant to section 2 of the Medicines Act 1981, the Minister of Health hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Medicines (Approved Laboratories and Designated Analysts in Charge) Notice 1992.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of July 1992.

2. Approved laboratories—The laboratories specified in the first column of the Schedule to this notice are hereby approved as approved laboratories for the purposes of the Medicines Act 1981.

3. Analysts in charge—For each of the approved laboratories specified in the first column of the Schedule to this notice, the person specified opposite the name of that approved laboratory in the second column of that Schedule is hereby designated as the analyst in charge of that laboratory.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice, which comes into force on 1 July 1992:

(a) Lists the laboratories that are for the time being approved laboratories for the purposes of the Medicines Act 1981; and

(b) Lists the person who is for the time being designated as the analyst in charge of each of those approved laboratories.
