Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988

Notice of Amendment to Notice of Initiation of Dumping Investigation: PVC Cling Film from Korea and Taiwan

Notice

Title—This notice may be cited as the Initiation of Dumping Investigation (PVC Cling Film), Amendment No. 1 and shall be read with and be part of the notice given for the Secretary of Commerce entitled “Initiation of Dumping Investigation”, dated 28 April 1992, and published in the Gazette of 30 April 1992 at page 1225, (in this notice referred to as “the principal notice”).
Description of goods amended—The Schedule to the principal notice is hereby amended by omitting the words “Polyvinyl chloride cling film with a thickness not exceeding 0.25 mm in varying lengths and exceeding 20 cm in width” and inserting the words “Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) cling film, of gauges between 7 and 32 microns, and a width of 195 millimetres or more.”

Explanatory Note:

This note is not part of the notice but is intended to explain the reason for the amendment.

In the course of the investigation it was found that the specifications of the imports of the goods under investigation and of the PVC cling film made by the New Zealand producers were wider than those originally given.

Pursuant to section 48 (1) (a) of the Medicines Act 1981, I, Maurice Donald Williamson, Associate Minister of Health, on the recommendation of the Medical Council of New Zealand, hereby prohibit the prescribing of benzodiazepine medicines by Matthew John Brick, medical practitioner of 297A Ocean Beach Road, Mount Maunganui.
