Land Acquired for Soil Conservation Purposes—Louisa Drain, Pukahu

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Napier, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes, together with the benefit of a drainage easement over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, created by declaration in the New Zealand Gazette on the 23rd day of April 1969, page 778, registered under No. 229695, appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and shall vest in The Hawke’s Bay Regional Council on the date of publication in the Gazette.
