Appointments, Promotions, Extensions, Transfers, Resignations, and Retirements of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force

Pursuant to section 32 of the Defence Act 1990, Her Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

REGULAR AIR FORCE

Following the restructure of officer branches of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, all officers are transferred to their respective new branch in their present rank and seniority with effect from 31 July 1991.

General Duties Branch

Appointments

Wing Commander D. A. Bamfield, to be Temporary Group Captain with effect from 6 January 1992.
Flight Lieutenant H. W. Hipango to be Temporary Squadron Leader with effect from 1 February 1992.
Flying Officer H. M. J. Pearce to be Temporary Flight Lieutenant with effect from 3 February 1992.

James Peter Cherrington is appointed to commission in the rank of Flying Officer, with seniority from 6 May 1989 and effect from 2 August 1991.
