Land at Twizel Held for the Generation of Electricity Acquired for a Sewage Treatment Works Together with Easements to Drain Sewage

Pursuant to sections 20 (1) and 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares that, agreements having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for a sewage treatment works and shall vest in The Mackenzie District Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the Gazette. The land is acquired together with sewage easements held appurtenant to that land created by New Zealand Gazette notice 1972, page 446, save that the lessor’s estate shall also be included in the easements.

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby amends the notice with the above heading dated the 25th day of November 1992 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 3rd day of December 1992, No. 197 at page 4400, by deleting “6.8105 hectares” from the Schedule and substituting therefore “6.8015 hectares”.
