The areas and roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The road specified in the Second Schedule is declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, to the extent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the periods commencing with the 20th day of December in each year and ending with the 10th day of February in the next ensuing year and from the Thursday preceding Easter to the Tuesday following Easter, shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of 50 kilometre an hour fixed by the said section, but for the remainder of the year the road is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometre an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
The roads specified in the Third Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometre an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
The road specified in the Fourth Schedule is declared to be a limited speed zone pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
The roads specified in the Fifth Schedule are excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The Traffic (Taupo District) Notice No. 1, 1991, signed on the 29th day of May 1991*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern side of Kinloch Road 50 metres measured northerly, generally, along Kinloch Road from Tohe Cui; thence across Kinloch Road at right angles from its eastern side to its western side; thence due west by a right line to the eastern bank of the Whangamata Stream; thence south-westerly, generally, along the said bank of the Whangamata Stream to the shore of Lake Taupo; thence south-easterly, generally, along the shore of Lake Taupo to a point due south of the southern end of Boojum Dell; thence due north by a right line to the southern end of Boojum Dell; thence northerly, and north-easterly, generally, along the eastern side of Boojum Dell to its intersection with the north-eastern side of Kenrigg Road; thence northerly, generally, by a right line to the commencing point.
