Wanganui Computer Centre Act 1976

Authorisation of Local Authorities to Use Wanganui Computer

Pursuant to section 4E of the Wanganui Computer Centre Act 1976 (as amended by section 3 of the Wanganui Computer Centre Act 1989) the Minister of State Services, by addition to the Schedule of the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette of 2 August 1990 at page 2737, hereby authorises The Auckland City Council to access the Drivers’ Licences Register and the Motor Vehicles Register subject to the terms and conditions specified in that notice.

Transport Act 1962

The Traffic (Kapiti Coast District—Otaki Ward) Notice No. 1, 1992

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I Carne Maturice Clissold, Controller, Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Kapiti Coast District—Otaki Ward) Notice No. 1, 1992.

The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Otaki Borough) Notice No. 1, 1979, dated the 5th day of July 1979†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.

So much of the Traffic (Horowhenua County) Notice No. 1, 1989, signed on the 12th day of July 1989‡, which relates to roads in the Schedules below, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.

First Schedule

Situated within Kapiti Coast District at Otaki:
All roads, except those exempted below, lying both south of Waitohu Stream and north of Otaki River.

Road exempted:
No. 1 State Highway (Awauu-Bluff): from a point 70 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said highway from Waitohu Valley Road to Waitohu Stream and from Waerenga Road to Otaki River.
Convent Road: from Bennetts Road to Old Coach Road.
Old Coach Road.
Rahui Road: from a point 350 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along Rahui Road from Freemans Road to the eastern end of Rahui Road.
Ringawheti Road.
Riverbank Road.
Tasman Road: from a point 200 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along Tasman Road from Te Rauparaha Street, to a point 70 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along Tasman Road from Robert McKeen Street.
Te Roto Road.
Waiorongomai Road.
Waitohu Valley Road: from a point 150 metres measured easterly, generally, along Waitohu Valley Road from Dittmer Street to the eastern end of Waitohu Valley Road.
