Amending a Notice Relating Road in Waitomo District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton hereby amends the notice dated the 18th day of September 1992 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 24 September 1992, No. 154, at page 3213, realigning road in Waitomo District by inserting the following areas of land in the Third Schedule:

“13 Part Section 12, Block III, Awakino North Survey District; marked “L” on S.O. Plan 55897.

460 Part Section 12, Block III, Awakino North Survey District; marked “M” on S.O. Plan 55897.

93 Part Section 12, Block III, Awakino North Survey District; marked “O” on S.O. Plan 55898.”

Land Acquired for River Control Purposes in Southland District Council

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Invercargill, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for river control purposes and shall vest in The Southland Regional Council on the date of publication hereof. The land thirdly described in the Schedule hereto being subject to drainage rights (in gross) created by transfer 192004.

23.9220 hectares, being Section 16, Block XVI, Invercargill Hundred, being all of the land held in certificate of title 149/75.

33.7027 hectares, being Section 14, Block XVI, Invercargill Hundred, being all of the land held in certificate of title 8B/109.

2554 square metres, being part of Section 7, Block III, Invercargill Hundred, being part of certificate of title 9A/423. The above land being more particularly shown marked “A” on S.O. 11795.

1.0900 hectares, being part Lot 1, D. P. 3881 situated in Block III, Invercargill Hundred, being part of certificate of title 163/67. The above land being more particularly shown marked “B” on S.O. 11795.

The above mentioned plan being lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Invercargill.

Land Acquired and Land Set Apart for River Control Purposes and Being No Longer Required for That Purpose Declared Crown Land and Vested in Block I, Mabel and Block III, Forest Hill Hundreds

Pursuant to sections 20, 42, 52, 106 and 107 (9A) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Invercargill declares:

(a) That an agreement to that effect having entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is acquired for river control purposes.

(b) The land described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be set apart for river control purposes.

(c) The land described in the Third Schedule hereto, being now no longer required for river control purposes, be declared no longer to form part of the existing bed of the Titipua Stream and to take on the identical status of the adjoining unaffected parts of that stream bed.

(d) The land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto, being now no longer required for river control purposes, be declared Crown Land subject to the Land Act 1948.

(e) The land described in the Fifth Schedule hereto, being now no longer required for river control purposes, be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title B3/233, subject to existing encumbrances.
