Land and an Interest in Land Taken for Sanitary Works (Sewage Treatment Ponds) in Far North District

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, I, Dame Catherine Anne Tizard, G.C.M.G. D.B.E., the Governor-General of New Zealand, declare the land described in the First Schedule hereto and an easement in gross for a pipeline and for leachate control, over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto containing the rights and powers set forth in paragraphs 2 to 5, inclusive, of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, together with the right to do such other things as are required to control leachate from the refuse site on the land described in the said Second Schedule, to be taken for sanitary works (sewage treatment ponds) and the said land and easement to be vested in the far North District Council on the 14th day after the date of the publication of this Proclamation in the Gazette.

First Schedule

North Auckland Land District (Land Acquired)

2.3800 hectares, being part land on D.P. 739; shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 64643, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.

Second Schedule

North Auckland Land District (Easement Land)

2700 square metres, being part land on D.P. 739; shown marked “B” on S.O. Plan 64643, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.

Declaring Land in Otago Land District Held by the Otago Education Board to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 and section 25j of the Acts Interpretation Act 1924, I, Dame Catherine Anne Tizard, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area held by the Otago Education Board, to be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every Educational Trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens or easements affecting the same at the date hereof. This Proclamation replaces the Proclamation dated 30th day of October 1990 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 November 1990, No. 200 at page 4334, declaring land in the Otago Land District, held by the Otago Education Board to be vested in Her Majesty the Queen.

Otago Land District—Waitaki District

All that piece of land containing 4047 square metres, being Section 2, Block XI, Town of Moeraki. All certificate of title, Volume 88, folio 241.
