  1. Pisa Endemic Area—Those properties within an area enclosed by a line running from Mount Pisa Station entrance on State Highway 6, north along State Highway 6 to the Lockar burn bridge, then up the true right bank of the Lockar burn to Lake McKay then direct line south west to Mount Pisa then direct line west to Queensbury Hill, south to Mount Allen then direct line south to Crown Range Road at Crown Range Pass, then west along Crown Range Road to East Burn Station Road, then direct line south to the bridge crossing the Kawarau River then down the true left bank of the Kawarau River to the Roaring Meg then in a direct line east to Mount Michael then in a direct line north east to Mount Pisa Station entrance on State Highway 6.

  2. Catlins Endemic Area—Those properties within an area enclosed by a line running from Pounauwa to State Highway 92, then north along State Highway 92 to Grays Road then in a direct line west to Clinton, then west along the Mataura-Clinton Road to the Otago/Southland Regional Government boundary, then south along the Regional Government boundary to the coast.

  3. Western Southland Endemic Area—Those properties within an area enclosed by a line running west from Trig 2758 Beaumont Hill to the NZMS 1 Grid Reference S159 905742 2nd Edition then south west to the Clifden-Blackmount Road at Grassy Creek. South along Clifden-Blackmount Road to Waireka; then direct line south east to Run Road and east along Struan Road to State Highway 96. East along State Highway 96 to the eastern boundary of W J Wallace, then direct line north east to north eastern boundary of Gowan Hills Station, then direct line north to Beaumont Hill.

  4. Taringatura Endemic Area—Those properties within an area enclosed by a line running from Affleck Road/Avondale Road junction, east along Avondale Road to Hamilton Burn Road, south east along Hamilton Burn Road to Dipton Stream bridge. Down Dipton Stream to Lang Road bridge, south along Lang Road and McDonald Road to Breakneck Road. West to Rocky Peak then west to northern boundary of W J Mackintosh. Monomore Road and along Monomore Road to Avondale Road, west to Aparima River at Affleck Road. North along Affleck Road to the junction with Avondale Road.

  5. Hokonui Endemic Area—Those properties within an area enclosed by a line running from the intersection of Retreat-Croydon Road and Kelvin Reaby Road, north west along the Retreat Croydon Road, Otapiri Mandeville Road and Waimea Valley Road to the Dipton Balfour Road, then south east along this road to the intersection with Ben Callum Road.

From this intersection south to junction with Otapiri Stream then follow the Otapiri Stream south along the east bank until it intersects with Shand Road from there east on Shand Road then east onto Lora Garger Road till the junction with the Makarewa River, then east along the north bank of the Makarewa River to Scotts Road bridge then east along Scotts Road to Jewitt Road and Murchison Road to State Highway 96. East along State Highway 96 to Miller Road, then north east along Miller Road, Duthie Road, Copland Road and Kelvin Reaby Road to the Retreat Croydon Road/Kelvin Reaby Road intersection.

This notice takes effect from the 1st day of October 1992.

Reserves Act 1977

Vesting of a Reserve in the Whangarei District Council

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Regional Conservator, Northland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby vests the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, in the Whangarei District Council in trust for scenic purposes.

North Auckland Land District—Whangarei District

Part Waro Limestone Scenic Reserve

11.4849 hectares, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 108699 and being part Allotments 40 and 41, Parish of Whangarei.

Dated at Whangarei this 14th day of September 1992.
