Amount of Provisional Anti-Dumping Duty

The amount of duty to be paid in respect of the goods subject to investigation shall be the amount by which the Normal Value (Value for Duty Equivalent) exceeds the value for duty of the goods when entered for home consumption. The Normal Values (Values for Duty Equivalent) in NZ$ are as follows:

Explanatory Note:

This note is not part of the notice but is intended to explain the reason for the amendment.

In the course of the investigation it was found that the operation of Rule 3 of the General Rules for the Interpretation of the Harmonized System meant that unisex footwear is classifiable as women's footwear. The investigation covers footwear which is unisex footwear so in order to ensure that such footwear is subject to the provisional duty imposed that the principal notice, this amendment makes it clear that unisex footwear which otherwise comes within the description of the goods described in the Schedule is subject to provisional duties.
