The roads in the Second Schedule are excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The roads in the Third Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometre an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
The roads specified in the Fourth Schedule are declared to be limited speed zones pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
The roads specified in the Fifth Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, during the period commencing with the 20th day of December in each year and ending with the 31st day of January in the following year.
The following notices issued pursuant to the Transport Acts of 1949 or 1962 are hereby revoked:

The notice “Closely Populated Locality and Limited Speed Zone Declared”, situated within Marlborough County at Spring Creek, dated the 22nd day of July 1965.

The notice “Closely Populated Locality Declared”, situated within Marlborough County at Pelorus Bridge, dated the 15th day of November 1960.

The notice “Limited Speed Zone Declared”, situated within Marlborough County at Tuamarina, dated the 27th day of January 1958.

The notice “Revoking a Warrant Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality and Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949”, situated within Marlborough County at Rai Valley, dated the 18th day of May 1955.

All roads, and parts of roads, within the area bounded by a simple line commencing at a point on the south side of No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) 100 metres measured westerly, generally, from Severne Street; thence southerly, generally, to a point on the northern side of New Renwick Road 40 metres measured westerly, generally, from Battys Road; thence southerly, generally, to a point on the western side of Taylor Pass Road 700 metres measured southerly, generally, from Wither Road; thence due east for a distance of 3000 metres; thence northerly, generally, through a point on the south side of No.1 State highway (Awanui-Bluff) 50 metres measured south-easterly, generally, from Lybster Street to a point on the northern bank of the Opawa River 700 metres measured easterly, generally, from the Elizabeth Street footbridge; thence easterly, then westerly, generally, along the aforesaid bank of the Opawa River to a point 300 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the western bank of the Opawa River from the Opawa River Bridge; thence westerly, generally, to the intersecting point of the northern side of Old Renwick Road and the western side of Waipuna Street; thence across Old Renwick Road at right angles, by a right line from the north side to the south side; thence westerly, generally, along the south side of Old Renwick Road to a point 400 metres measured westerly, generally, along Old Renwick Road from Murphys Road; thence southerly, generally, to the commencing point.

Queen Charlotte Drive: from a point 300 metres measured easterly, generally, along Queen Charlotte Drive from the Ngakuta Bay Bridge to a point 300 metres measured westerly, generally, along Queen Charlotte Drive from the Ngakuta Bay Bridge.
Situated within Marlborough District At Picton:
All roads, and parts of roads, within the area bounded by a simple line commencing from a point on the north-western side of No.1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) 200 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said State
